Last night Mrs. Z and I were on a listing presentation on Mott Street and after the meeting we were very hungry.After walking around for about 30 minutes, Mrs. Z was getting annoyed with me and I finally spotted DBGB……….We walked in at 7:50pm and were seated right away (maybe they knew who we were? J) ….The place was very busy and as usual I was and always will be in awe of Danielle Boulud! He has been an inspiration to me since I first met him in 1998 when I was working at the River Café as David Burke’s Sous Chef!Very nice design, solid service, delicious beer and a great cold corn veloute and iceberg salad.I think my favorite thing was the bread with sweet butter and sea salt.The garlic sausage with braised fennel was yummy as was the burger.Go check it out!
