So last night, I was hanging at Studio Fifty Paws and I met some really cool pooches who hang up at the doggie run at Fort Tryon Park......it is a great dog run and a wonderful community....
Here is how to get to the run:
Sir William's Dog Run is located in Fort Tryon Park, between Broadway and the Henry Hudson Parkway to the East and West, and Riverside Drive and 190th Street to the North and South.
The closest subway train to Fort Tryon Park is the A train, which stops at both 190th Street Station at the South Entrance to the park, and Dyckman Street Station at the North Entrance to the park.
Margaret Corbin Drive circles the interior of Fort Tryon Park, and is the only road accessible within the park. The main entrance to Fort Tryon Park is the South Entrance at 190th Street and Fort Washington Avenue. Fort Washington Avenue runs into Margaret Corbin Circle, with Margaret Corbin Drive veering just to the right of the park's main entrance. There is a secondary entrance off the Henry Hudson Parkway North. Limited parking is available behind the New Leaf Cafe off from Margaret Corbin Drive, just above the dog run area.
