A few nights ago, Mrs. Z and I had a fantastic meal at Compass on the Upper West Side.
Boy, were we pleasantly surprised.
Our first few ventures their were when John Fraser of “Dovetail” and “What Happens Next” was the chef and we knew John was a budding superstar.
I really loved the main room and it is perfect for business or social entertaining.
The service was top notch as well as the flowers, design and music.
I am not a big fan of the bar and lounge area….Just a bit too cold for me.

The homemade cheese bread was sick as well as one of the best Skate dishes I have ever had in my life!
We were bombarded with desserts as our waiter had worked for me previously at Calle Ocho, so we immediately became super VIP~
Try it, if you have not already done so…..
