Monday night, I went out with a good friend for boys night out-
Gone are the days of going to a bar at 7pm and drinking till dawn-
Now it's food, wine, beer and great conversation.
We met at 100 acres for a glass of rose and a lager. 100 acres is great, Mark and Vicki, who own it are amazing people and there brunch rocks.
At around 8:15, we headed over to The Dutch-Andrew Carmellini's new joint in the former "Cub Room" space.
They have warmed up the space and the joint was humming!
delicious corn bread loaf to start.
My tomato and burrata salad was awesome, a selection of oysters was tasty as well!
We had a middle course of fluke and watermelon, that was divine.
We both had simple grilled swordfish that was perfectly seasoned and perfectly cooked.
Our waitress was amazing and the peach pie was tasty, but not as good as the pie lady at Green Acre farms-
